I named my college magazine 'Options' as if a student would have to choose options throughout their college life. The main colours i used were reds, yellows and purple as they catch the attention of the reader. I used the colour red as it is a passionate colour which indicates that the college are passionate in their work, i used purple and gold as they are the college colours. Underneath the title of the magazine i have wrote 'Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College' to show what college it is about. I haven't drawn the images but i have indicated where they would be. For the main image on the front cover i would use a positive and successful looking student and use a close up of their face. I will also include a small photo of map as i have mentioned about their being a map inside and it will attract attention and make people want to read the magazine.
For my contents page I used a lot of red. I did the page numbers in red as it will make them stand out and again it is a passionate colour that it will draw attention so people will see what is one which page which is written in gold/yellow. I have also included an editors note as most magazines would have one on their contents page to show the editors input into the magazine.
